Everyone who has a sense of humor will not get offended by this, why? because the song is tongue in cheek.
This is Roman [who Nicki has already said is a GAY alter ego] and Slim [who we all know has a potty mouth and is a rude jerk]. It's a play on characters, it's a battle, it's not supposed to be taken literally.
The fact that people can't see the irony in a gay alter ego taking on a questionably homophobic alter ego speaks volumes about how uptight people are.
The song is hilarious.

Also, Eminem is not homophobic. He already spoke about this years ago and the guy even went out of his way to sing on stage with Elton John as a peace offering. His use of the word faggot may STILL be offensive to some, but it isn't used in the way other people use it. It's not meant to be a homophobic slur. If you can't look past that, than that's your problem.

As a gay guy, let me tell you, i fully support gay rights, but at the same time, a lot of gay rights campaigners can be a little sensitive. They have every right to be sensitive, but at the same time, not all gays take everything so seriously. Some do have a track record of getting offended by EVERYTHING, Nicki can't help that, some folks just love playing the victim.

The song is called ROMAN'S REVENGE, Roman who is gay goes mad on Slim, do people not understand the point of the song? hellloooo.

I think we all know where Nicki stands on the issue. With eminem, I don't think he should be taken too literally, he has always thrown around the word faggot, but for crying out loud don't get so sensitive. It is slim shady, he's always trying to provoke, and I don't think anything on Pink Friday is homophobic. If it was, don't you think Nicki would have something to say about that?

Eminem is known for that and if you listen to Nicki's earlier stuff she says things like "you softer than them dudes with they wristes bent" and she also says "faggot" in her song, Dead Wrong. It's just seen as hard to diss gay people.

But yeah I get that it's hard, but it used to be a lot harder to be gay. You have no idea what those words mean. It's sad. I'm not tryna be cryptic either. I do realize that I and a lot of others, have it a lot better when it comes to racial, sexual, and gender discrimination. But it's just gonna keep getting shoved back inside our heads and I don't think connotations fully ever go away. I am very thankful for the place that I live in and I recognize that. But these words are being used elsewhere, as you said, and justifying acts like killing people for who they are or their race or religious beliefs.

All those fucking ethnic wars in Europe and Africa are based off of these social structures that we use to make us fucking more divided and hated then we need to be. But yeah. I'm done.
