Help Nicki Pick Charities!

Posted by User

Nicki Minaj wants to make some charitable donations and help raise money for worthy causes, but she's looking for your input!

What charity means a lot to you? What organization should she and the Barbz help raise money and awareness for?  Tell us the name of the organization and why.  Post your response in the form of a comment here.  We'll take the top charities posted and make an exclusive user
poll with that data for everyone to vote.

Please keep your suggestion to 100 words or less and and only make one charity suggestion per person.

Thank you!

    Australian Red Cross

In Australia we have had two major floods and countless natural disasters over a two year period. We have had some of the worst bush fires, cyclones and even tornadoes hit us without any warning. We need a lot of help for basic essential items to help your Australian barbs get back on there feet. Brisbane showed you so much love on the 3rd of December and Australia desparately needs help!

I believe that the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Breast Cancer foundation should definitely be a top charity choice. THINK PINK: Barbz For Breast Cancer can be the motto. The American Cancer Society estimates that there will be about 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer discovered in women in 2013. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among African American women and the second leading cause of cancer death among African American women.
Breast Cancer is a very special and personal thing for me because I saw how it took the life from my grandmother. May her soul rest in peace. She couldn't take the pain and ordeal of it all, and women shouldn't have to suffer. THINK PINK: Barbz For Breast Cancer.

As you are already campaigning with MAC for AIDs through the VIVA glam products, I think the charity we should focus on is for Cancer Patients
A lot of these patients lose they hair through treatments. So we can make wigs for them or donate 7-12 inches or more of our own hair to make a wig for them.

    Hey nic, it's @nicki_lilwayne

You should donate to cancer research and cancer patients, cancer is too common and everyone knows someone with it, there's never enough finding and it needs more donations. Cancer is a good cause to donate to and doesn't just help one section of the community, donating to something on the medical side helps raise awareness and complete critical research because theres a chance we all could be victims of cancer and it will benefit the community in the future.

:) whatever you donate to you are so kind and generous, thanks in advance

Hey Nic it's @Onika_Lil_Barb l think that we should make a community for people that have cancer, you could give cancer victims wigs to wear instead having no hair so they could feel special <3

Hey Nic Nac! It's @YoungSpeechless ^_^ Found a charity to keep in mind. Based around the Black Community and I think its really helpful to our youth's education today. It's called 100 Black Men of America (Specifically: 100 Scholarship Program) - To assist youth in completing educational goals by providing resources to offset expenses associated with tuition, books and housing. Education is VERY important for our black youth. Therefore, I believe this organization will indeed help MORE of our black students in the commuinity get to/through college and be successful in life. #BarbzGiveBack!!!

I think we need to help all ages and all people. By donating to the "lions club" (preferably the onein san tan valley, Az), we are giving the gift of sight to those who need it. As a result, more children would participate in classes because they can actually see. I have been apart of this organization for 2 years, and it cost 70 or 80 for a eye exam. No one has that kind of money to be donating Willy nilly! But through wide variety of gracious donations, we can change the lives of so many children by improving thier education! And creating a better future.

    Dear Nicki,

We should fund and establish a charity for gifted minority youth. This could provide pivotal support for future generations, who may have impeccable capabilities without the resources to explore them.

    Very very sincerely,
    @QueSeraCiso ^_~
