Reality vs. Fantasy

I think the more we listen to art, like hip hop, we seem to confuse someone elses' emotions, dreams, fantasies, and overall self expression as a way to become what they hear. I love art within music. This is why I appreciate Nicki and many other artists. But, I am have a lot more years and sense than the average female on the site. Be who you are and appreciate art, but not everything you hear is meant to be duplicated! LOVE EACH OTHER NO H8

I agree. It's amazing that music can take us into someone else's world. Poetry is the same way. When someone is up there on the mic speaking their own truth and expressing themselves the audience is just drawn in just for those few minutes; being distracted from themselves and becoming a part of someone else. Kinda reminds me of sex! (LOL) Her music is so different and expresses so many different emotions, like sadness, regret, anxiety, and unrelenting anger. We come in as the audience and love this art, but we can't let the art control our own behavior.

I like fantasy. I think fantasy is like an escape to a better place to get away from the negativity in reality. Thats why I love nicki's music. Fantasy is her reality
