Dear Nicki,
Watching you evolve into the star you have become today has been amazing. I remember my first time hearing you in late 07, listening to the your remake of "Warning", saying to myself "damn she can flow!" and then immediately searching for more songs by you on the internet. At that moment I became a fan hoping I would hear more music from you, but was skeptical ONLY because of the lack of seriousness most of the world takes when it comes to female rappers. A couples months later, I heard "Dilly Dally" and "Jump Off 07'' which made me happy and kept me following you. I didn't know anything about you except that "you ate bitches with a nasty flow" (haha) so I looked you up. I remember seeing you get interviewed by Jabari while you were sitting on a toy horse thinking "haha she's mad pretty and seems like she would be fun as hell to chill with!" The rest is history from there. You were this bad bitch with a dream and determination. You always sent out this positive message to us girls telling us to put God first, be ourselves, be independent, and focus on school or getting money. You never stopped fighting to reach your dreams and that is why I want to thank you. Sure everyone says "Never give up" but it never seems realistic until you have watched it in progress. Seeing you come up from "Playtime is Over" to "Pink Friday" is prof to me of that statement. You are a major inspiration and I love you for that. Not only your an amazing inspiration, but a phenomenal writer. Your music is able to reach into me and speak out my thoughts that i'm not able to put together. Songs like "Autobiography", "Save Me", "Here I Am", and "Catch Me" are songs that I relate to so much and can't go a day without listening to. Whenever something is going on in my life, im able to get lost in your music & it takes me away from all of the stress. A lot of people look at me weird wondering why I love you so much, but I just tell them they'll never understand. I thank God for you every day and i will support you until the day i die.
