Jay Cutler likely Chicago Bears' starting QB vs. Browns
Even after another strong performance by Josh McCown, Chicago Bears coach Marc Trestman made it clear after Monday's game that Jay Cutler will remain his starting quarterback once he's healthy enough to play.
That quarterback change might come as soon as Sunday versus the Cleveland Browns.n
Trestman said Wednesday that he's optimistic Cutler will be recovered enough from his high-ankle sprain to start in Week 15.
Cutler has been cleared to practice at full speed and will participate Wednesday. If his ankle passes a "thorough" test in the workout, he will get the green light. If not, McCown will start for another week.
Trestman plans to make an announcement on this week's starter by Thursday.n

Analysts and fans have debated which quarterback gives the Bears a better chance to win the NFC North title, but Trestman has not deviated from his position that a healthy Cutler will be under center.
It's a testament to McCown's team-first attitude and the respect that Trestman and Cutler carry in the locker room that this has not devolved into a full-blown quarterback controversy.
