Anytime we judge something solely by the surface, we are actually doing an injustice to ourselves, not the thing we are judging. Every time I hear a comparison made about you and "someone else" in the business, I can't help but to get defensive. Why does everyone have to be labeled just so it is more convenient for others to deposit them in a specific box? I myself have lived a very open minded and colorful life and maybe that is why I feel this immeasurable connection to your spirit Nicki. I felt it the first time I met you and it has only grown each time I am in your presence. I want you to know that there are a few of us out here that don't feel the need to grasp onto a label to feel in control. There are some of us who have been blessed enough to dig a little deeper to fully understand the unique characteristics that make a person who they truly are at the core. I've seen you in your costumes many times, but the most beautiful aspect I have seen from you is what lives behind your eyes and in that magical hemisphere I so often get lost in... your SMILE. People will always compare apples to bananas, I am just happy that I found a mango in you! ;)
